Noulagh's Final

For the final project, I will be taking photographs of stars. Since we didn’t get the chance to do it in class I thought it would be neat to experiment with it. I plan on going out to bear meadows for some of the pictures and I also took photos over Thanksgiving break. I am going to be using trees, buildings, and water as the foreground to help shape/ frame my images. I think by doing this it will make them more interesting and more real because when you look up at the stars you normally look at them and see what’s around them and I also thought that it would be interesting to see the different ways the ground can form things with the stars. To me, the stars are a really cool part of space and on a clear night, you can see the milky way and if you’re lucky enough some planets. When taking the image I had different exposure somewhere between 30 seconds and 5 mins. I thought by doing a longer one you could see the movement of the stars in the sky when they form a type of circular movement.  I also did thirty seconds because there isn’t that much movement but there are still some. I also layered a couple of my images just to add more depth to them because either the night was pretty cloudy or I just wanted there to be more.
